We're thrilled to announce that the Georgia Department of Economic Development has launched their brand new state-wide ZoomProspector Enterprise GIS data tool. The launch of Georgia.org/SiteSelector ensures the state has the gold standard in GIS site selection software to attract investors, create jobs, and help stimulate the regional economy.

Georgia is one of several new clients who have recently decided to switch to GIS Planning; we are thrilled to welcome them to our family of discerning and forward thinking economic development organizations. More than 60% of Americans and one-third of Canadians live in territory serviced by GIS Planning technology, including half of all U.S. state economic development organizations, and the majority of the biggest 100 metropolitan areas in the country.

“We are looking forward to providing site consultants and company decision makers with an enhanced digital experience, powered by GIS Planning, for researching certified sites, available buildings, demographic data and the breadth of companies that call Georgia home," explained Robert Cappellanti,

Director of Interactive Marketing for the Georgia Department of Economic Development.

"GIS Planning has provided a seamless customer-centric experience through the transition process, and we look forward to continually evolving our site selection offerings with them as a strategic partner.”

Georgia.org/SiteSelector aggregates available commercial sites and properties with robust demographic, workforce, talent pool, business, industry, and GIS data. Site selectors and investors seeking their ideal business locations can use the wide variety of user-friendly research and analytical tools such as thematic heat maps, interactive data infographics, community comparison, polygon, radius and pinpoint tools. The tool incorporates statewide GIS layers and Certified Sites custom icons and navigation search.
