Most economic development organizations send out email newsletters from time to time, in order  to communicate their location's value proposition, highlight recent successes, showcase available properties, and make a good overall impression. It's safe to say many economic developers don't look forward to this particular marketing task; there's no question they can take a lot of time and thought to plan out properly, edit, and send to the right list. Moreover, they aren't always sure who's actually reading it, what their readers are most interested in learning about, or what concrete returns the newsletter might provide to fulfil their main objectives.
